How to Create and Manage Email Accounts

This guide will show you how to create professional business email addresses (e.g., you@yourdomain.com) using the HostWP.io dashboard.

Step 1: Access the Email Manager

  1. Log in to your HostWP.io Platform.
  2. Navigate to Services > My Services and click on your hosting plan.
  3. Look for the Quick Shortcuts or click the Log in to cPanel button on the left sidebar.
  4. Once inside cPanel, find the Email section and click on Email Accounts.

Step 2: Create a New Email Account

  1. Click the + Create button on the right side.
  2. Domain: Select the domain you want the email for from the dropdown menu.
  3. Username: Enter the part before the @ sign (e.g., info, support, or yourname).
  4. Password: Enter a strong password or use the Generate button.
    Tip: We recommend a password strength of 80+ for security.
  5. Storage Space: You can set a specific limit (e.g., 1024MB) or select Unlimited (depending on your plan’s disk space).
  6. Click + Create to finish.

Step 3: Managing Your Accounts

Once created, your email will appear in the list. From here, you can:

  • Check Email: Access the Webmail interface directly.
  • Manage: Change your password, update storage quotas, or delete the account.
  • Connect Devices: Get the manual settings for your phone or computer (which we will cover in the next guide).
