Welcome to HostWP.io (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a project by WPdots LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) guide your use of our hosting services, website, and tools (the “Services”). By creating an account (https://platform.hostwp.io/) or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If anything doesn’t feel right, please reach out — we’re happy to help clarify.

1. Lawful & Respectful Use

We believe in empowering creators, businesses, and developers. To keep our community safe and our infrastructure reliable, we ask that you use HostWP.io solely for lawful, ethical purposes. This means avoiding content or activities that violate applicable local, national, or international laws — including unauthorized copyrighted material, defamatory or harassing content, or material that infringes on others’ intellectual property or privacy rights. When in doubt, ask us — we’re here to help you succeed responsibly.

2. Your Responsibility & Our Partnership

You’re in control of your Content (files, code, data, etc.). We provide the platform; you bring the vision. To protect everyone, you agree to:

• Keep your account credentials secure
• Ensure your Content complies with applicable laws
• Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access

In return, we commit to transparent policies, proactive support, and industry-standard security practices. If a concern arises, we’ll work with you to resolve it fairly.

3. Service Reliability & Uptime

We’re proud of our infrastructure and strive to deliver a reliable experience. HostWP.io aims for 99.99% network uptime, supported by redundant systems and proactive monitoring. While occasional maintenance or unforeseen events may cause brief interruptions, we’ll communicate scheduled downtime in advance whenever possible. For peace of mind, we encourage all users to maintain independent backups of their Content.

4. Getting Started & Payments

• Account Activation: Orders are reviewed promptly to ensure security and quality. Once our automated system verifies, your hosting service is activated right away. You’ll receive login details and next steps via email.
• Invoices & Billing: You’ll receive invoice reminders about one week before payment is due. Payments are processed securely via your chosen method, depending on your billing cycle.

4.a) Billing Cycles:

• Standard Hosting Plans: Your renewal is based on the day you originally signed up. Invoices are due on that same day each month.
• Dedicated Managed WordPress Hosting: To keep services synchronized, these plans have a fixed due date of the 25th of each month.
• Initial Signup: If you sign up before the 23rd, you’ll be charged pro-rata for the remaining days of that month. If you sign up on or after the 23rd, your initial invoice will include the remainder of the current month plus the following month.
• Keeping Your Services Active: To avoid service interruptions, please settle invoices by their respective due dates. If a payment is delayed, we’ll send a friendly reminder.

4.b) Standard Hosting Plans (7/14 Day Policy):

• 7 days overdue: The affected service will be temporarily suspended.
• 14 days overdue: The service will be terminated, and all data (including files, databases, and emails) will be permanently deleted.

4.c) Dedicated Managed WordPress Hosting (25th/28th/1st Policy):

• 25th (Due Date): Invoices are due.
• 28th (Suspension): If payment is outstanding, your service will be suspended.
• 1st of the month (Termination): If payment is not received by the 1st of the following month, the service will be fully terminated, and all data will be permanently deleted with no possibility of recovery.

Your Platform Account: Even after a product is terminated, your account on platform.hostwp.io stays active so you can view order history, download past invoices, or place new orders.

Pricing Updates & Order Approval: Should our pricing change, we’ll provide 30 days’ notice via email. Your existing plan remains at your current rate. Additionally, we reserve the right to review orders to ensure they align with our Acceptable Use guidelines, helping us maintain a safe, high-performance environment for everyone.

5. Your Data, Your Control

Want to remove everything? If you’d like to permanently delete your account on platform.hostwp.io and all associated personal data, just email us at [email protected] — we’ll process your request promptly and confirm once complete. We’d much rather help you stay online — if you’re facing a temporary hurdle, just reply to your invoice or open a ticket. We’re happy to explore flexible options.

6. Keeping Our Community Safe: Acceptable Use

HostWP.io supports free expression and innovation — and we also believe in protecting users, networks, and the broader internet. To that end, we ask that you avoid activities that could harm others or compromise security, such as:

• Spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk messaging
• Malware, DDoS attacks, hacking attempts, or resource abuse (e.g., excessive CPU/RAM usage that impacts others)
• Hosting pirated software, copyrighted material without permission, or illegal goods/services
• Content promoting hate, violence, discrimination, or harm against individuals or groups

If we notice something concerning, we’ll reach out first to understand the context and offer guidance. In rare cases when immediate action is needed to protect our network or users, we may temporarily suspend access while we work together to reach a resolution. Our goal is always education and partnership — not punishment.

7. Cancellations & Flexibility

• You Can Cancel Anytime: Life changes, projects evolve — we get it. You may cancel your service at any time via your client area or by submitting a support ticket.
• Refunds: We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee for new standard hosting plans. If you’re not happy within the first 30 days, cancel, and we’ll issue a full refund (excluding domain registrations, SSL certificates, or third-party add-ons). This applies to user-initiated cancellations in good standing.
• Early Termination by Us: In the unlikely event that we need to discontinue service (e.g., for repeated policy violations or infrastructure changes), we’ll provide reasonable notice and, where applicable, pro-rata refunds.

8. Privacy & Transparency

Your trust matters. Our Privacy Policy (available at hostwp.io/privacy-policy) explains how we collect, use, and protect your information — including compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy frameworks. We never sell your personal data. You can update preferences or request data exports/deletion anytime via [email protected].

9. Migration Support

Switching hosts? We’d love to help. HostWP.io includes complimentary migration assistance for up to 15 domains. For larger sites or complex setups, our support team will provide a personalized quote and timeline — no pressure, just helpful guidance.

10. Service Availability

While we strive to serve everyone, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if usage conflicts with our Terms, poses security risks, or exceeds technical feasibility. Decisions are made thoughtfully, with user communication and fairness as priorities.

HostWP.io is a project by WPdots LLC. We’re proud supporters of the WordPress ecosystem — but we’re not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the WordPress Foundation, Automattic Inc., WooCommerce, or their subsidiaries. References to “WordPress,” “WooCommerce,” or related terms are for descriptive purposes only. All other brand names, logos, and product names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners. If you believe your trademark is used in a way that concerns you, please contact us — we’ll review promptly and in good faith.

12. Keeping Terms Fair & Up-to-Date

As we grow and regulations evolve, we may update these Terms. For changes that meaningfully affect your rights, we’ll provide at least 14 days’ notice via email or dashboard alert. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updates. We encourage you to bookmark this page and check in occasionally.
