JetBackup 5 is included on all plans of HostWP.io and our clients do not need to pay anything extra for backing up their websites and emails on an offsite cloud server.
HostWP.io automatically creates hourly incremental backups, stored for 48 hours, and daily backups for 90 days on a secure offsite server. You can download and restore these backups at any time.
Follow the steps below to learn how to access HostWP.io backups and how to download and restore them.
How to Restore WordPress Website from a Backup
Step 1: Accessing JetBackup 5 on HostWP
- Log in to your HostWP.io account.
- Click on “Log in to cPanel”.
- Navigate to JetBackup 5 under the “Files” section

After opening JetBackup 5, you will see a summary of how many backups are currently retained and how much storage space is being utilized by your account.
Step 2: Restoring WordPress Backups from JetBackup 5
- Open JetBackup 5 in cPanel.
- Choose the backup type “Domains” to select a WordPress site that you wish to restore.

- Select the date after clicking “Choose Other Backup” and then click Restore.


- A pop-up with the Restore Summary option will appear for a final confirmation. Click “Restore Selected Items” to proceed.

- You will be redirected to “Queue,” and here you can see the progress of the restoration process.

- After completion, you will see “Completed” under the status column, this will restore your WordPress website to your previously selected backup.
How to Download a WordPress Website Backup
Our customers can download backups of any of their WordPress websites hosted on our servers at any time without any restrictions. Follow the steps below to learn how to download WordPress website backups.
1. Accessing JetBackup 5 on HostWP.io
- Log in to your HostWP.io account.
- Click on “Log in to cPanel”.
- Navigate to JetBackup 5 under the “Files” section

2. Downloading Backups
- Open JetBackup 5 in cPanel.
- Choose “Domains” in order to access WordPress website backups.

- Select the date after clicking “Choose Other Backup” and then click Download.

- A pop-up with the Download Summary option will appear for a final confirmation. Click “Download Selected Items” to proceed.

You will be redirected to “Queue,” and here you can see the progress of the downloadprocess.

Once complete, the status will show ‘Completed,’ Then go to downloads and your WordPress website backup will begin download to your computer.
